OK. I am a landscape painter, but some years ago I taught pottery at a local college. I am selling this electric pottery wheel for $400. Used wheels of this caliber are often seen online for around $600. Although used, it is in excellent condition. I'll also through in some exctra stuff like throwing disks, underglazes, etc.If interested, contact me through my website http://www.landscapesofnewengland.com/

New Series "White House"
I've started a new series of oils that I'd like to share with you. Each one has a white house as the subject. Here's an example of one I just finished and one that I started about a week ago. "Ocean View" ( 9"x12", oil on canvas), started with a bright red under painting. After it was dry, I began to block in some of the darkest shapes. I then painted the background sky and sea (seen through the opening between the trees and house). The rest of the painting fell into place rather quickly once these areas were established.
Here's the one I started a week ago. I've done the same red under painting, blocked in the darkest places, and painted in my background sky and sea.
In both cases, I leave some tiny flecks of red under painting showing through. I feel it gives a zesty feeling to the painting. I may call this "Maine Coast Cottage", but if you have a better title perhaps you would suggest one for me; or if you think this title is appropriate, just let me know. I'll look over all of the suggestions before applying the title. Perhaps your title will be the one I choose!
